BEFORE YOU BOOK

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Can I train around rotating shifts?

Yes. We build your training around the days and time you have available. If your shifts change, share your updated schedule so we can adjust the plan.

What equipment do I need?

Tell me what you have access to—at home, at work, or in a gym. We’ll discuss what’s practical for your goal and identify any equipment you may need before you start.

Do I need to be fit before starting?

You don’t need to hit a particular PT score to have a discovery call. We begin with your current ability and discuss an appropriate starting point for your goals and training experience.

What if my test or selection date is approaching?

Bring your date, current scores, and assessment requirements. We’ll discuss what preparation fits the time available. A 90- or 120-day option is not a promise that you’ll be ready for every course or selection.

How do online coaching and check-ins work?

You access your written sessions online, record your training, and share feedback. Before you sign up, we agree on the delivery platform, check-in frequency, communication method, and response expectations.

What happens after the discovery call?

If the coaching is a good fit, we confirm the plan, price, and next steps. You complete the onboarding forms and payment before coaching begins. The call is free, with no obligation to sign up.

THE NAME BEHIND THE WORK

Why Back Forty?

When I was in the Army, we called our training area the “back forty.” The training out there was tough, rugged, and demanding. It challenged us physically and mentally, taught us to work together, and got us ready to do our jobs when it counted.

That experience stayed with me. To me, the Back Forty represents putting in the work, being someone your team can depend on, and building confidence through preparation. I carry that same purpose into Back Forty Strength & Conditioning: helping you build the strength, endurance, and confidence to handle the demands of your job and show up for the people who count on you.
